Dan,almost six years ago, you took me under your wing and gave a tremendous amount of time, energy, patience and love to look out for me and teach me the job.
But it was never just about the job for you and I'll never forget that.
You never made it about the progress I was or wasn't making.
You always made it about life and living life to the fullest.
A day never went by where you didn’t ask me how I was doing, what was going on in my life. We shared stories about life experiences like your time in the Air Force and the basketball camp I help run in Jamaica.
You treated me like family from the first time I met you.
Your selfless attitude and approach is something I will always remember and try to impart on others just as you did to me.
Thank you for everything Dan.
Memories I will never forget, valuable lessons for me to pass along to others.
What I would give to turn the corner to see you and ask me "How we doin?" in your semi-southern drawl with that devilish grin on your face.
Rest In Peace Dan
I know you are up there having a grand old time.
