Obituary of Dorothy F. Davidheiser

Dorothy “Dotty” F. Davidheiser, 70, of Perkiomenville, PA, gained her wings on her favorite weekday, Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Seasons Hospice – Phoenixville Hospital. Born on March 25, 1949, in Pottstown, PA, Dotty was the daughter of the late Paul and Frances (Schroder) Davidheiser. Dotty led a very active life at Helping Hands Day Program. She liked to keep busy and enjoyed dancing, listening to her favorite tunes, coloring, working on puzzles, painting, and making crafts for her family. She made some of her most precious memories on Tuesday evenings, when she visited her niece Patty's house to spend quality time with her family. She is survived by her sister, Joan Davidheiser; her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and the many staff and friends that meant so much to Dotty from the Helping Hands community. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Catherine “Honeygirl” Valez, Patricia Ann Ledford, and Diane Birkhead. A viewing will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on March 7, 2020, at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place after the service at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helping Hands, Inc.
