Obituary of Kathryn E. Faust

Kathryn E. (Heiser) Faust, 100, was reunited in heaven with her late husband, Luther A. Faust, on July 12, 2022. Born in Orwigsburg, PA, on July 8, 1922, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Walter and Bridget (Mundy) Heiser.

Kathryn graduated from Orwigsburg High School in 1940, and lived most of her married life in Pottstown, PA. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her daughters. She and her husband were faithful members of Trinity UCC and the Firestone Retirees Club. They enjoyed camping and traveling, and were able to visit Alaska and Hawaii, among many other places. In 2005, Luther and Kathryn moved to Keystone Villa at Douglassville, where she lived until she moved to Keystone Villa at Ephrata in 2016. She was honored to be a “chartered member” of Keystone Villa since she lived at their facilities for over 17 years. Kathryn was a loving mother who was devoted to her family and homemaking. Her sense of humor and feisty personality will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Kathryn is lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon & Mark Snyder, Lititz, PA, and Marilyn & Joe Ging, The Villages, FL; and her five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces. In addition to her husband and parents, Kathryn was predeceased by her siblings, Dorothy Bard, Loretta Kapinski, Blanche Heiser, Clifford Heiser, Edward Heiser, Kenneth Heiser, and Harold Heiser.
