Obituary of Gerard C. Lubinsky

Gerard “Jerry” C. Lubinsky, 91, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on November 4, 2022. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Rogalski) Lubinsky; they married on July 20, 1963, and lovingly shared 59 years together.

Born in Cumbola, PA, on February 7, 1931, Jerry was the son of the late Stanley and Susan Lubinsky.

Jerry graduated from Blythe Township High School in 1949, and was drafted into the United States Army in 1952. After his honorable discharge in 1954, Jerry began his lifelong career working as an accountant for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Pottstown. He retired in 1997 from Handy & Harman Tube Company, Inc. in Norristown. He was a member of Saint Aloysius Church in Pottstown and Sanatoga American Legion Post 244. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed golfing, vacationing in Hilton Head, SC, working around the yard, and taking walks around the neighborhood. Most of all, Jerry loved the time he got to spend with his two grandchildren. He spent many years “chauffeuring” them to practices, games, doctor appointments and more! They made countless memories together. Jerry was always able to make those around him laugh, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is lovingly remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Monica Lubinsky; and his grandchildren, Michael Lubinsky and Kelli Lubinsky. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his siblings, Bernard Lubinsky, Victoria Kutash, Stella Simchena, Celia Homick, Helen Meros, and Elizabeth Pawlak.
